This report draws lessons from three groundbreaking, people-powered advocacy campaigns in Tanzania. We collaborated with advocates to create case studies describing the experiences and learning from these campaigns. This synthesis and the related case studies are aimed at informing and inspiring other CSOs in Tanzania and other countries. Through the open participation of the campaigning organizations, these case studies provide an unvarnished, behind-the-scenes look at advocacy campaigning in Tanzania. The people involved generously shared their successes and missteps in hopes that others might benefit in the future. The synthesis is available in Kiswahili and English.
